Ilya and Kimberly are the absolute best. I was the executor for an estate of an ill relative who was a massive hoarder and whose house required tremendous repairs to make saleable. Kimberly and Ilya managed the entire project providing me with multiple names for each job necessary. If that was not enough the house became an FHA deal and that required extra work. They communicated regularly, acted in my behalf and not the behalf of their wallets. I have bought and sold a great many homes and have never dealt with anyone better than them. Don't hesitate they are the best AND they are really nice people to deal with.

The whole team was very supportive and helpful through a very painful process with an unresponsive seller and agent and a sloppy lawyer on the other side. They helped with things well above and beyond the role of an agent - including chasing down my utilities after closing. I was slammed at work and living in limbo, and they did zoom walkthroughs and kept me updated when I couldn't be there myself.

They are really on top of things. If repairs are needed, they take care of it, if they need input from you, they do it in a timely matter and give you all the information needed to make a decision and they stay in contact with you every step of the way. Plus they are extremely friendly.

Ilya and his team helped my family find our dream home. Through patience, diligence, and a network of allies Ilya was able to move mountains in navigating the complex process that is buying a home. Could have been a stand-up comic, but chose real estate instead. Supremely patient with picky buyer. Cambridge is a tough market (for buyers) but Ilya makes it less complicated. Steered us away from bad deals and poor fits, and helped us find the home we really wanted. He knows the trade extremely well. We hired Ilya Rasner as our realtor and we could not have been happier. Prior to working with Ilya, I had another realtor who I had to let go as I felt the other realtor was very pushy. The contrast between Ilya and my first realtor was very noticeable. Here are a few of the many things that I felt made Ilya amazing to work with.* There were multiple open houses we went to where Ilya pointed out things that helped us avoid buying the house that was not what we were looking for. I think this alone sets him apart from all other realtors. He wasn't trying to quickly make a sale and get his piece of the pie. He genuinely cared about finding a house that we loved and he didn't mind if that implied that it took more of his time.* Ilya always provided facts before making decisions. There were houses that we liked, but overpriced on the market. Instead of having us “take him on his word” for it, Ilya always gave us a list of similar houses, the prices and why he believed that the house was worth something else. He then highlighted the price delta and asked us if that was the route we wished to take. It's important to put weight on facts as buying a house is so emotional and Ilya did a great job separating out the two and made sure that our emotional attachment to a house didn't come at the cost of overlooking important facts about it. * Ilya was both professional and had a great sense of humor. * During negotiations and writing up offers, Ilya was always looking out for us and helped us make very strategic decisions. We ended up in a much better position than what we initially imagined thanks to the way he handled everything. I was extremely fortunate to have found Ilya! As a first time buyer, the process and amount of information I was going to need to learn were pretty intimidating. I have to admit, I was also skeptical about how trustworthy my agents would be. I learned VERY quickly that this is not something I would have to worry about with Ilya. Literally within hours of our initial meeting they were sending me information about potential properties, neighborhoods, and the general buying procedure. They were extremely knowledgeable, transparent, professional, responsive, and down-to-earth. As long as it wasn't at an unreasonable time in the middle of the night, I never had to wait more than a couple hours to get a response to an email. I do not have access to my phone where I work so this was very important to me as it helped ease any stress/fears/doubts that I had. They made what could have been a painful process, into an enjoyable one. Ilya was easy to talk to, funny, and in general, just really a quality person. He provided tons of info and things to keep in mind when looking through a home while making sure the ball was in my court for any decision making. Ilya also has great relationships with lenders and attorneys so this was one less aspect I had to worry about and again, helped the process move quickly and smoothly. Its difficult for me to write this review because there are too many good things I have to say about Ilya all jumbled in my head.
